i stumbled across a clip of inside the actors studio a few days ago and immediately remembered how much i enjoyed watching the show. if you haven’t seen it, i highly recommend catching an episode or two with your favorite actors/actresses.
towards the end of each program, host James Lipton asks his guest the same ten questions. on the surface they appear to be such simple questions, but it’s amazing what types of answers they often lead to. out of fun, i thought i’d share the responses i’d give should i ever find myself up on the stage in the show. if you want to add yours, i’d love you hear your responses in the comment section below.
1. what is your favorite word?
the spanish word for peanut – cacahuete
2. what is your least favorite word?
pussy. i hate this word no matter how innocently it’s used.
3. what turns you on?
open-minded, tolerant people who help others without any motive for reward or compensation. and redheads.
4. what turns you off?
people who put their beliefs before the happiness of others.
5. what sound do you love?
dogs eating potato chips and yawning. i really like dogs.
6. what sound do you hate?
grown people crying.
7. what is your favorite curse word?
fuck, as long as it’s used as an adjective. if so, it’s one of my favorite words. used as a verb, not so much.
8. what profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
massage therapist
9. what profession would you not like to do?
health insurance executive
10. if heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates?
